A: Our magazine app is quite stable and is constantly being user tested. As with everything there might be some special cases not yet discovered. If you are having issues not listed here, please send your iPad Crash Logs.
To do this, go to the settings icon on their iPad, click on General, click on About, click on “Diagnostic & Usage”, then click on “Diagnostic & Usage Data”.
There will be a list with different types of error logs from the iPad. Find the ones that have Lean Toward Happy Magazine in the title and tap on the entry to see all the details.
Then press and hold and choose the “Select All” option that will appear and then click on “Copy”. Simply paste the log you have just copied in the message section of the form below. If you have more than one log e-mail the rest of the logs one per e-mail to publisher (at) leantowardhappy.com. Send as many e-mails as you have logs.
Complete the remainder of the form with the following:
+ The exact steps to replicate the error: This is Very important so that the team is able to properly troubleshoot and fix the error. As you can imagine, If they cannot replicate the error, it will be very hard to fix. The more details you provide, the better.
+ Screenshots of every single steps. This is very important so that the team can see the other elements of the page. Take a screenshot by simply clicking on the Home Button and the Power Button at the same time. Print in a blank Page.
+ The version number of the iPad having the issue: This is very important to be able to troubleshoot the error.
+ The iOs version number of the iPad having the issue: This is very important to troubleshoot any error. To get the iPad iOs version number, tap on the “Settings” icon, tap on the “General” option. The version number will be shown.
+ The version number of the magazine app in the iPad having the issue: This is very important. Provide a screenshot of the app home page with the settings section opened. To do this, click on the settings icon located at the bottom right of the app home page. The setting section will expand on the home page. Please provide a screenshot of that page. While this is open note:
+ The device token number of the iPad having the issue: This is very important. You can find the device token in the settings section of the app. Simply click on the settings icon, the settings section will expand. You can copy the device token shown.
Your log will go to support. It is vital that you provide as much information as possible about the error. It is especially important to include the exact steps you took to get the error as well as their iPad setting so that the team can try to replicate the error. If an error can be replicated it can be fixed!
