Who smiled at you today? Did you feel validated ~ like someone appreciated you?
When was the last time you validated someone? How about yourself?
When you are looking at the people you meet through eyes of love, seeing something good about them – then TELLING them – you change everything.
Truly you are changing their world and yours. This is actually an act of gratitude. Noticing something that pleases you and speaking it is expressing gratitude.
As we move in the attitude, the FEELING of gratitude, our perspective shifts and we find ourselves looking for good things to mention.
Because you can’t focus on opposing things at the same time…as your focus is on seeing good…you will notice the not so nice, the contrasts to what we appreciate, less and less!
As you develop a “let me tell you what I appreciate about you” lifestyle you become gracious. A person who lifts others up – validates – them. You love yourself more and others will begin telling YOU what they appreciate about you…How fun is that?!
